The EGO 56V 6.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery uses industry-leading ARC Lithium™ technology to deliver Power Beyond Belief™. Its patented ARC Lithium™ design keeps the battery from overheating by pushing heat away so your equipment runs longer at full power. Its durable, shock-resistant design protects batteries from drops and the elements. Intelligent power management monitors and optimizes each individual battery cell to maximize power, performance, and runtime. This 6.0Ah battery features a fuel gauge with built-in indicator lights that show how much runtime is remaining in 20 percent increments. The 6.0Ah battery fully charges in 35 minutes with the EGO POWER+ Turbo Charger (CH7000), 45 minutes with the Rapid Charger (CH5500), 80 minutes with the 320W Charger (CH3200), and 120 minutes with the Standard Charger (CH2100). Two 6.0Ah batteries will fully charge in 90 minutes with the EGO Power+ Dual-Port Charger (CH2800D). With the industry’s most advanced battery technology, every EGO tool delivers or exceeds the power and performance of gas without the noise, fuss, or fumes.

Power is measured in Watts and that is calculated by Voltage x Current. In addition, to calculate how long that power can be delivered, use Voltage x Capacity (Ah) = Energy (Wh)
When battery cells are connected end-to-end in a single row they are in ‘SERIES’. When more than one row is combined, the rows of battery cells are connected in ‘PARALLEL’. Arranging enough cells together in series delivers the required voltage (V). Adding an identical number of cells in parallel delivers more capacity and higher power (W).
Due to their high capacity, all EGO batteries can be stored unattended for a minimum of 10 years without damaging capacity and cycle performance. After 30 days batteries discharge to 30% capacity (to ensure longevity).
